Mrs. Mayberry combined reading and social studies for a Remembering 9/11 project. The students began by coloring what they thought were random squares, but then put them together to reveal a large September 11th banner that says Never Forget. They discussed what they know once the banner was revealed. The project concluded with making and reading a flipbook for them to take home.
